Bill Gilbert is a marketing executive with extensive experience moving telecom and high-tech organizations from a technical focus to a customer-driven brand. He is known for the ability to innovate with new products and for strategically directing products through their life cycle, creating revenue streams that grow companies.

Until recently, Bill served as Vice President, Business Development for Vibrant Solutions, a leading provider of Business Intelligence analytics to Tier 1 and 2 telecommunications and cable firms. He served as a business advisor to Vibrant customer executives needing to find creative ways to improve customer retention and customer acquisition. Clients included Verizon Wireless, Time Warner, Cincinnati Bell, Qwest, and Sprint Nextel.
Prior to joining Vibrant Solutions, Mr. Gilbert was a Partner at the Venture Consulting Group, a management consultancy helping telecom and high-tech companies grow. In this role, Bill personally assisted more than 20 companies in over 60 innovation and marketing projects. Clients ranged from large (BellSouth, D&B, Monster Worldwide) to mid-size to small/start-up.
Earlier, he worked for AT&T, leading a number of customer focused start-up initiatives, including sophisticated market segmentation and international service development with carriers in Asia and Europe. Bill started, grew and led the AT&T network management SBU providing software and services to AT&T’s largest customers. He served as AT&T’s public spokesperson on network management issues and as board member and President of the Network Management Forum, an industry consortium of major companies.
Mr. Gilbert has advanced executive education at Harvard Business School, INSEAD, and the Brookings Institute, and has Bachelor of Science degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Iowa State University.
